What Guests Are Saying
Toad Suck Campground offers a beautiful setting right on the Arkansas River, with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, good fishing opportunities, and the chance to watch boats navigate through the locks. However, concerns were raised about highway noise, traffic from non-campers, and limited bathroom facilities during peak times, which could affect the overall experience.

Great campsite, clean, well organized, quiet. Plenty of room to play, and right on the river.

Very nicely kept park with a great view of the river. Our spot (A14) had a slight incline but flattened out on the pad with a slight tilt away from the picnic area (on the trailers left). Water and electric were right by the pad, but allowed plenty of room for our 2 ft. Pullout. The picnic area was large and was concrete with a brick ledge around the perimeter. Very shady. This spot had an electrical junction box at the back behind the pad about 7 or 8 ft, but allowed plenty of room between for our 30 ft rig's 4 ft overhang. The nearby highway is high and over the dam, a little noisy at times, but got quieter after dark. Overall, Nice place for an overnight. We'll stay there again. Camp host was nice, we Felt safe and town was right there. Coming from I-54 Google Maps took us on a route of busy left turns with no signals into traffic. Might check the route before hand.

First time staying in the A Section and it was wonderful! Spot A10 was easy to enter and had plenty of space.

The sites were quiet, well spaced and well equipped. We had no trouble and enjoyed watching the boats on the river. The ranger was really helpful.

Nice RV Park, level shaded site overlooking the river. We only stayed one night, but it was a good experience.

Grass knee high with lots of stickers.
No sighs to get there from interstate and no signs no where!

Big, beautiful! Good for RVs. We weren't there for that just passing through. Had 2 parks but not well maintained. We had fun stretching our legs and seeing the Arkansas River Dam.
