What Guests Are Saying
Lost Bridge South is a well-loved campground with spacious sites offering stunning views of Beaver Lake, making it a favorite for many families. The facilities, including clean shower/toilet rooms and friendly staff, contribute to a pleasant camping experience, despite some concerns over the need for deeper cleaning and updates. Some sites present challenges for larger RVs due to steep drop-offs and tight access, but overall, visitors appreciate the natural beauty and amenities of the area.

Our Campsite #14 Had a great view, was a little disappointed in cleanliness of Rest Rooms & Showers. The biggest problem I experienced was the fact that there is only one dump site ( 2 stations) for South & North campground, & it was a Very sharp turn out of the South campground to get to it in the North campground.

The campground is a family favorite. We love the proximity to the lake, the playground for the kids, the clean facilities and the area is well patrolled. We also appreciate good cell phone service and tv reception.

the camp grounds were clean. The park was clean. The restrooms had lots of room for my family to change/shower together. The restrooms need some improvements. I reserved the perfect spot, centered ourselves between the swimming area, restrooms, and park. I appreciated all the trees for shade. We even had some entertainment from a local family that came to make TikTok videos. The park Ranger gave the kids frisbees. The BCSO made us feel safe. We will be back!

Host was great. Site we had, and many others, are not level, and are very narrow and relatively short. Appears the camp was built for much smaller rigs. Lots of erosion, which may be nature of area. Going around the lake on a boat, it appears there are some campgrounds that appear better. Dump station was a long way on those roads and a very difficult turn onto hwy 127 to reach it from LB South. Beautiful lake, we will come back, but not to Lost Bridge South.

First time at Lost Bridge South, was an excellent experience. The campsite was right on the water which made it perfect to keep my boat in the water. The area was clean and scenic, one of the most beautiful nights, a full moon was spectacular. Definitely will be back.

Weeds and grass was about knee high on our campsite and the next one was even worse (which we rented as well for family). You can tell they have quite a bit of flooding but it doesn't look like they do much to repair or try and clean it up. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest and they are all unisex a toilet/shower/sink. Not a fan of that. When we called to ask about water they told me we had to fill up and dump at North bridge first. Then we saw water spouts all over South. Still have to dump at North though. Host was hardly ever in his spot and not very knowledgeable. We stayed Monday thru Sunday and there was Zero attempt for maintenance done. We stayed in 03 amd it was a little difficult to get a camper in amd very small camp site on 3 and 4.
