#40 is a large primitive camp site at the end of the road. Great views, little path leading down to water and very private. The bathrooms were clean, shower was amazing.

Nice clean campground. I was lucky to get one night there as I pulled in without a reservation. I would have loved to stay longer. Beautiful lake. Didn’t use the bathhouse so unable to comment on that. I had water at my site but I couldn’t figure out how to get it to work. Fortunately I was only there one night and had plenty of water in my fresh water tank so it wasn’t a big inconvenience. Despite the campground being full it was very quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed my visit and hope to return soon.

This small and simple campground is such a quiet and beautiful place to relax. I enjoyed coming here as a kid, with my grandparents, and now I’m bringing my own kids. My sister does the same and it has become our new summer tradition. We love it.
