Site 3, camped with tent. It was on the edge so we got a great view of sunrise and sunset. There’s a stone beach next to the water to walk around.
We loved it

Best spot 31B. Uninterrupted view of Quachita Lake with other campsites behind you at a good distance. Mature campers in October so congenial and quiet. Visit Mt Ida for the best breakfast across from Garden Center near intersection of 270 and 27. Excellent camping at Denby.

I knew about the area and campground from previous visits to Lake Ouachita in Mt. Ida. Really like to choose the camping loops that are smaller, or more remote, than the rest of the more populated sites. Great site, lake views, good spacing, everything worked as intended. Clean, maintained, easy to operate.... will return.

This area is beautiful and was VERY clean. Bathrooms were stocked and cleaned. Trash was picked up on time. The only concern we had is that there is no host or ranger on site. Previously, there was a host on site and law enforcement paroled the camp at least once a night. We've not had any problems but we'd feel much safer if there was someone checking on the sites.

The place was great! If we would had a boat would have been fantastic, all we could do was camp and walk the small trail, other wise not many entertainment. Restroom and showers were very clean! We did had a noise issue by other camper close to us that were drinking heavily, I did not know what to do or call.
