Nice campers, good staff, great sites and setting. Sometimes kids are too intrusive, unattended, but that's no fault of Denby's.

We camped across from some friends m, we met other campers nearby and had a blast. We actually have a place on Lake Ouachita but we enjoy camping during the early spring.

We have camped in section A previously, we wanted to try the B section this time. Upon arrival with the family the kids wanted to go to the bath house and take a shower. They immediately returned and said that there were no showers in the bath house. Later found out that there were none only toilets. All of the bath houses with showers were located in area A. Very inconvenient having to load all the kids up and go to area A for showers. Had 2 adults and 6 children camping so we were unable to use the shower in our camper. Won’t be camping in area B ever again. Other than that problem our stay was fantastic! Weather could have been better but I know you can’t plan around the weather.

This park was beautiful! We had a nice view of the lake & the nearby hiking trails were enjoyable. The park was close to Hot Springs National Park & trails within the Ouachita National Forest. We would definitely camp here again! We drove through the campground nearby, Tompkins Bend, & it looked very similar. Either is a fine choice, in case you're having trouble choosing between the two.
