Absolutely beautiful location and campsite 40. Tent camping right next to the lake partially shaded by large mature trees was a joy. We just enjoyed the peaceful time in nature and only left to buy local meat, ice, and wood at Burl's. On the way out we stopped in Mt Ida to eat at the fabulous Mt Ida Cafe and marveled at the delicious old-timey lemon meringue pie. There was a fruit stand adjacent where we found sweet juicy Georgia peaches, and fresh, ripe cantaloupe.

Site needed to be mowed. So busy at this spot. No level spot for the picnic table.

Park was clean, quiet, our site was nice and shady. Shower across from site 60 didn’t have any hot water and the boat ramp was down the road about 2-3 milea

Site was clean. Some of the trees along the entry route could be removed to make it easier for bigger campers to circle through the campground.

Always a pleasure to stay at Denby Point on Lake Ouachita. The camp sites had been freshly cleaned and mowed and were nice.
