Overall, it's a nice park. There are a lot of trees alongside the park road. That makes the road hard to navigate and for some campsites, difficult to back into with a big RV. Be sure to check potential campsites for appropriate trailer length accommodation. The campsites are nice with water and electric, and park restroom facilities are handy and very clean.

I arrived just before dark, only to spend one night. My main reason for staying was the availability of showers. It was late December, and the weather was cool, but not cold. The shower house was adequate and relatively clean. The water was hot. The restroom was adequate and clean. I don't know if either has heat, as it was not too cool during my visit. The lakefront campsite was great. It was fairly clean ( I picked up five or six bits of micro trash). The view of and access to the lake were good, although the slope to the water's edge would be difficult for those with mobility issues.
I used the fire ring, which really added to the ambience. The site also has a picnic table and a lantern/water holding hook. There is a water spigot and I did not use the electricity. There were three other groups in the area, all of whom were very quiet at night. I will stay here again.
