It is always enjoyable to camp at Denby Point. It is a beautiful place. Sid and Grace are very good camp hosts. I look forward to seeing them during my spring and fall visits. If they do not return to DB next year it just won't be the same. Please try to figure out a way for them to remain camp hosts.

This campground was more in the “woods” than others. Lots of tall pine trees which are beautiful. Sites with electric/water are a little smaller for bigger tents so it can be difficult to find. Bathrooms were kept clean and well stocked. Our site was close to a bathroom which was really nice for the middle of the night trips.

Site 22 was excellent only comment I would say is that there is a persimmon tree that has got to go. It made a mess that got in our trucks and trailer.

Parkway. Turn right and follow access road one mile north to park.
From Mount Ida, Arkansas, take US 270 east approximately 9.5 miles to Ouachita
Shores Parkway. Turn left on access road one mile to park.
Denby Point is accessible via US 270, which runs approximately 26.5 miles west from Hot Springs and about 9.5 miles east from Mount Ida. The campground is located at the intersection with Ouachita Shores Parkway.

- No off-road vehicles allowed in park
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- Camper Self-Check In Cards are located at the entrance of the campground. Please grab a card apon entry, fill it out and attach it to your campsite post. A ranger will verify the information written on the card later and check you in.
