It was great camping area. Quiet. Bathrooms were clean. Just frustrated that the fire ring area was not cleaned out. Previous camper left rags and plastic in the fire ring.
Otherwise the camp area was clean. We kayaked on Lake Ouachita and mountain Biked on the single track trails.

We had an amazing time camping here. Our site was a beautiful spot to watch the sunset and just to see the lake. There was a little trail from our site to a great little place to swim and we swam for hours and hours in beautiful water. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was there was standing water in the dressing area in the showers. I did try two bathrooms, so maybe there is one without this issue. Overall I would camp here again. There was also some bike and hike trails, but I was enjoying the lake to much to check them out.

Denby Point could be a beautiful campground if they would mow the grass occasionally. Also, we were on site #9 and our picnic table was useless, it looked like a tree had fallen on it. Our grill was broken, probably from the same tree.

I would camp here again if I were in the area. Camp hosts were so friendly and laid back. Lots of shade in most sites. The campground is fairly well maintained; the facilities are dated, but we did not use bath house, etc. Lake is beautiful!

Parkway. Turn right and follow access road one mile north to park.
From Mount Ida, Arkansas, take US 270 east approximately 9.5 miles to Ouachita
Shores Parkway. Turn left on access road one mile to park.
Denby Point is accessible via US 270, which runs approximately 26.5 miles west from Hot Springs and about 9.5 miles east from Mount Ida. The campground is located at the intersection with Ouachita Shores Parkway.

- No off-road vehicles allowed in park
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- Camper Self-Check In Cards are located at the entrance of the campground. Please grab a card apon entry, fill it out and attach it to your campsite post. A ranger will verify the information written on the card later and check you in.
