Site #40 is unbelievably gorgeous. Was skeptical that the real thing was as good as the picture. And it far exceeded everything. The site is so big and private with access down to the water. Seeing that sunset every night and waking up to the lake....magical. If it wasn't an 11 hour drive, we'd be there way more often.

the first night we had no electricity so we had to go home to sleep and come back the next day. The temperature that day had been in the 90's with high humidity. We were glad we only were an hour away from home. No one on site to replace circuit breaker.
Our campsite had a bad circuit breaker. The Park Ranger had an electrician come the next morning and replaced the circuit breaker. After we got the air-conditioner working we had a great experience.
