It is absolutely gorgeous! There are tight curves so make sure you will fit with your trailer. Ants were everywhere, bring spray. Grass needed to be mowed as well.
Overall, I can overlook this just for the beauty and peace.

Nice location. Roads are fairly rough, lots of potholes. Not all sites are "improved" which means no water, though each site has electricity available.

The water, the views, the camphosts were great. The flies, though, created a real problem for me and my dog. Hopefully next year they won't be so bad.

We stayed in campsite 50 D. While the overall campground is nice, the location of 50 D is right by the bathrooms, and there is a large street light that stays on all night. If you are sleeping in a tent, as we were, this can be bothersome.
Also, the campsite was not as clean as others we have been to as recently. Campers have not been careful about picking up pieces of plastic and other little pieces of trash. We picked up some of it and left our campsite cleaner that we left it.
Really enjoyed listening to all of the birds early in the morning. My Merlin ID app picked up within two minutes the following birds from their distinctive songs: Carolina Wren, Pine Warbler, Canada Goose, American Crow, Eastern Bluebird, Blue Jay, Carolina Chickadee, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Northern Cardinal, Tufted Titmouse, Brown Thrasher, Eastern Bluebird, House Sparrow, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Mourning Dove, American Grow, Great Blue Heron
