The campsites near the entrance were upgraded recently so they were nice. New wood lumber were replaced to circumvent the packed gravel pad. The site we stayed had water and electricity hookup. This site is for both RV and tent usage. However, for RV, it does not have a sewer hookup. The campground does have place for RV owners to dump black water and waste. Each campsite was cleaned and far apart, thus, it created a privacy atmosphere. The lake view was beautiful. We camped there during the first week of August and the temperature was between 80 - 90 F. In the shade, we still experienced the cool breeze.
The only downside of this campground are lots of ants and fly bites and they could be very painful and itchy. The restroom and shower were clean however, there are still room for improvements:
- The restroom does not have soap and a bench
- The shower room does have a bench and it is kept clean
- The problem that we noticed was that the drainage of the shower was not working very well. The moment the water was turned on for shower, there was always a pool of water on your feet rising past your ankles. If the drainage can be fixed so that the water can drain properly then this campsite would get 5 stars.
The camp host were very helpful, professional and courteous. The gentleman checked us in was very kind and helpful and made our stay for the first time very pleasant.
Overall, I would highly recommend this campground.

Stayed site 9, 7/30, 31/2021. We had streams of ants crawling on every surface, including our bedroom wall! The park knows about this and does nothing!

We had to leave Hot Springs on 4th of July morning and as luck would have it, we decided to camp for a night and got the best spot available. We ended up staying 2 nights and watched the Ouachita fireworks show, the best I have ever seen.
