Truly one of the nicest parks I've stayed at! Water views (access) everywhere, clean bathrooms and pleasant neighbors that aren't on top of you. Will make this the only place I stay when in Mt Ida!

Awesum camping trip 4 us . Just note host are volunteer host so may not b available 2 ur needs if any = no one was at the gate 2 check in or out . Never met them seen them on golf cart putting out tags. Campground seems 2 b well maintained - dump station was fairly easy access- all the campers in our area observed and respected the quiet times. Restaurant within 3 miles but did not go there

Shady campsite close to the water. Even tho campground was full our spot offered privacy. Would love to stay here again.

My husband is somewhat disabled making the drop off from many of the pads to the ground dangerous! Please try to add gravel/dirt to even these out. Maybe a few a year. We love our time at Tompkins Bend.
