This park was beautiful and the people were friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were easy and convenient. Enjoyed my stay and meeting the people we met while there.

Site 47 was level and accessible for our pop up. Within walking distance to the water and easy to load canoe. Great shade and wildlife watching. Coons, crows and more.

Tompkins Bend Campground is one of the prettiest places on Lake Quachita. Always enjoy camping there. The views are wonderful.

This campground was perfect (clean bathrooms, trash emptied every day, grounds maintained/mowed, playground safe) except for one thing THE BARKING DOG rule was not followed. Several campers had more than one dog and they barked constantly and into the late evening. We couldnβt even enjoy sitting out by the campfire. Thank goodness we were they to fish. By the way, the fish cleaning shelter was amazingly clean!

Great place to stay. Itβs quiet and well taken care of. My power was high voltage the whole week. It sat at 126-130V most of the time, but kicked off at 132V several times, usually around sunset or in the middle of the night unfortunately.

19B - great spot! Watch the boats launch and return from 19b. Watch the family of Canada geese. Stayed a month during the off season - still not long enough! Volunteer host - Casey, wife and doggie (Cisco) were great!

What a beautiful campground! Site 62 was perfect for us. It has easy access to the bathroom, which was important for us as we camp with tents. Important note for tent campers, the hookup site have both water and electric but the water hookup basically requires a hose to access and is underground. The bathroom was so clean and warm! And had two outdoor sinks with hot and cold water. The sites here are all well spaced so you don't feel on top of your neighbors. The LOViT trail is right at the entrance to the campground for great hiking, there's a boat ramp (didn't use but saw many using it), and a playground as well. We had a great stay and would come back!

The camp and trails along Lake Ouachita were beautiful. Very kind campground host and immaculate bathrooms/showers.
