Great place to relax. Plenty of shorefront for everybody. Bathrooms are kept very nice. Kids playground is a little out of reach and there is no swim beach. Everyone just jumps in where ever.

The power has gone out the last two consecutive trips at thompkins bend. There needs to be some tests run to figure out why the power fails so often.

Always love Tompkins. First time staying in D, we liked it. Good spot on the water not far from the bathrooms. One drawback- the asphalt drive was eroded away so that there was a big step down to the ground just outside the camper preventing a nice wide seating area. More than one kid fell over it during the trip. My daughters site next to me had the same issue.
