I arrived at the campground and within 5 minutes, between the group, we had seven ticks on us. The site was infested due to zero site maintenance(Leaf litter was piled over a foot high, the plumbing in the bathrooms was not working, etc.) The staff at the front was unhelpful when I brought all this to their attention. I was forced to get a hotel over an hour and half away from all the planned activities. All of this could have easily been avoided had anyone bothered to pick up the phone and answer my questions one of the sever dozen times I called. When I brought to attention that nobody was answering the phone to recreation.gov, they sent back an automated message with the same phone number that was not being picked up.

This year the campground seemed cleaner and better cared for more than before. The staff were very friendly and professional, even the volunteer host was very active in seeing that things were done right. Well done!

I've been out there before 3 times, but this time was the best yet. The campground was kept clean in spite of the night visitors (Racoons). The campground host was great. The restroom was clean. Great views of the lake and various wildlife. Best campground I have been to.
