When I drove up, the man at the front told me the campsite was practically its own island. SO TRUE. We had so much space and were surrounded by water. Great fishing and hiking close by. Campsites very well maintained and clean. Restrooms were a short drive away and also very clean. The water spout was less than 2 minutes walking. Very pretty site and good experience at Tompkins Bend.

Very tight sites to get into, tree limbs need to be trimmed and everybody parks wherever they want. But all in all a nice campground...out there (no TV, no cell service for us at least and two radio stations). Nice folks come to camp here.

Easy excess to boat ramp and leaving boat trailer by boat ramp and very peaceful and relaxing

Park was very good rest rooms and showers where very clean and nice we had a good time there and are planning on booking again as soon as we can. The only thing I had to complain about was the copper head snake in the men's rest room. But I guess that is the best place to be on the pot when you see a snake. Lol
