We stayed in tent, camp spot #14, quick access to water for swimming and viewing boats on the water. Restrooms were clean just need to take your own hand soap, showers have hot water, lots of cobwebs but it's to be expected. Be sure to pack up things overnight as there are hungry raccoons. Overall, very nice spot!

There are several nice areas to camp here with nice views of Lake Ouachita. Good areas for walking. Restaurant not far from the campground.

Beautiful park! Beautiful lake! Bath houses were very clean. Even though the grounds needed attention regarding scattered trash (I picked up two used syringes near the picnic table at my site), it was a magnificent experience. I will most definitely return and have already recommended this campground and Lake Ouachita. Also, the camp host who greeted us at the gate was very helpful and pleasant. Regarding the trash, it’s a shame that it’s even needed. It’s such a beautiful place to be so disrespected.

General
- No off-road vehicles allowed in park
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- Check-Out time is 4pm and Check-In time is 6pm
- Camper Self-Check In Cards are located at the entrance of the campground. Please grab a card apon entry, fill it out and attach it to your campsite post. A ranger will verify the information written on the card later and check you in.
