What Guests Are Saying
Prairie Creek offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience, with clean facilities and a lovely location by Beaver Lake, perfect for outdoor activities like boating and hiking. Many visitors appreciated the spacious sites, helpful staff, and the amenities available, including a marina and restaurant. However, some campers noted issues with poorly marked trails, uneven sites, and maintenance concerns, particularly with exposed hazards and cleanliness. Overall, it remains a favored destination for many.

PC is a great place to camp with the family. Site 075 is a great location, level, and easy to back in to.

Pretty park. The gate wasn’t manned when we came in but a lovely lady in a golf cart came around later to check us in. The bathrooms were quite dirty and one faucet was missing but there was plenty of toilet paper.

Well spaced sites however many are hard to back travel trailers into. Clean restrooms spaced throughout the campground but COLD showers and only 1 shower house with 6 showers (3 men/3 women) to serve over 100 campsites.

Our tent site was on a 30 degree slop so there was no way to set up on level ground, we all had to sleep at steep angles. The sites next to the marina were not good because you could hear people on their boats with the music going into the night and the construction was really loud starting early in the morning. There was no attendant ever and no where to get firewood. Very little info at the front structure to direct you and many wayfaring signs to find which road your site is on are non existent. No lights in the bathrooms either.

Beautiful Corps of Engineers campground on Beaver Lake. Depending on the specific site, they are either well spread out, or comfortably close (if you are camping with friends). Multiple bathrooms, and a central shower house. Staff keeps the campground clean, and the check-in staff are super. It's about 20 minutes from the mountain bike trailheads, and 5 minutes or so from downtown Rogers.
