What Guests Are Saying
Prairie Creek offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience, with clean facilities and a lovely location by Beaver Lake, perfect for outdoor activities like boating and hiking. Many visitors appreciated the spacious sites, helpful staff, and the amenities available, including a marina and restaurant. However, some campers noted issues with poorly marked trails, uneven sites, and maintenance concerns, particularly with exposed hazards and cleanliness. Overall, it remains a favored destination for many.

We have now been to Prairie Creek three times in the past couple of months. This is a beautiful park. The sites are a little rustic but we love it that way. We have a small Tab teardrop trailer so we can go anywhere, but some larger RV's have a problem with tight turns and get into trouble with small spaces. The wireless reception is good and I get a million channels on my regular antenna because we are so close to Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale, and Fayetteville-the most modern and progressive part of Arkansas. Town, restaurants, Dollar General, gas, etc. is only a minute down the road, but on that lake you feel a long way from anywhere. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful campground! Make sure you look carefully at the photos of your potential campsite for inclines. We struggled a bit getting into our spot. Some of the sites are located on a steep hill. Fabulous place!

This campground is very convenient to Bentonville and Crystal Bridges. We’ve stayed here a few times and have found the sites uneven and some loops scary for even our 24’ Navion. We have levelers so uneven is relative for us.
We’ve stayed in the 40s and 50s as well over at 98 on the lake. We like this park because it’s wooded but can be busy on weekends and various site are not level for some RVs. Some loops seem more suited for tents. Enjoy the proximity to the cities, while being able to get away.

We were at site 4, which is close to the check in booth but very, very far from the bathrooms snd showers. Many of the sites are far away, so be careful when you book.
It’s pretty snd we’d go back, but we’d get something closer to the lake snd bathhouse next time.

I always enjoy the park. Mostly because of other campers but also because I like the big lots provided for each camper. I would like the grass mowed a little more often. Thank you, P. Cradduck

I have stayed at Prairie Creek for many years and usually in the same area. It's close to everywhere I want to go. I wasn't there last year because of Covid. This year I was surprised that there was no one to check me in or answer any questions....the entry booth was unattended until the weekend. You have all these rules about check-in and having documents ready but nobody was there to help. Please reinstate a fully staffed "gate house" especially during the fall craft fairs when a lot of us from out of state visit.
