What Guests Are Saying
Prairie Creek offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience, with clean facilities and a lovely location by Beaver Lake, perfect for outdoor activities like boating and hiking. Many visitors appreciated the spacious sites, helpful staff, and the amenities available, including a marina and restaurant. However, some campers noted issues with poorly marked trails, uneven sites, and maintenance concerns, particularly with exposed hazards and cleanliness. Overall, it remains a favored destination for many.

we had a great location for our size RV..The swimming for the kids was great, and they even provided life jackets, if you forgot your. Love the area the had for kayaking, next to swimming, so we were able to do both, with our group of 8. Picnic provide area for cooking, and hook ups for RV. One small complaint, one of the showers was not working, just had 2, so line for ladies bath was a little uncovience, but over all, had a wonderful time, the crew in the front entrance were very friendly and helpful will plan again for next year...Thanks

There was too big of drop offs trying to back into our site. We were not able to use it and forfeited the space. The space for our friends next door was also forfeited.

Space 79 has some drainage problem and I did tell the hosts of it can be fixed with some water diversion around the camp area

We stayed in a motorhome @ Prairie Creek on Beaver Lake in Arkansas. It was a nice 2 day visit in a nice area. Would definitely stay there again.

Unfortunately it came a monsoon, rained the entire time & we went home a day early, wasted a night of camping. Ugh

Beautiful park, we had a great time.
The only bad part is the picture of our site looked more level than it was, so I didn’t bring extra blocks to put under the tires. With the nose all the way down we were still several inches out of level front to back. We didn’t let it spoil the fun, but would have liked to know that the site was that far from level.
Not all sites are this way. Just be prepared and go have fun. Would definitely go back.
