When we checked in, the representative at the gate was so helpful and assigned us to a very nice space. The park is in a pretty setting. The spacing of the sites is good, and there are many amenities. Plus, the rate for golden-agers like us is great.

My Family and I spent 14 nights over spring break and once again we enjoyed our time at Merrisach Park.
It appears some of the pads are showing some major cracks and could use some attention.
Area D is the most recently renovated area and is very nice. It would be nice to see the same type of renovation project for area A. I would like to see some asphalt work done in area around playground as the asphalt was taken up over a decade ago and never resurfaced.
What about adding wi-fi to the park? just asking... I love Merrisach and have been camping there over 30 years now. Thank you for all the improvements: LED street lights, Area D projects, Restrooms, courtesy dock, trash dumpsters, sea wall, Kiddie pond improvement, cleaning out brush in near by wooded areas has made park safer, ect...
Campground director is very nice and helpful.
Boat ramp used to have a pole showing where the edge and end of the boat ramp is. It is gone and I ran my boat trailer off the side edge. Totally my vault! I hate to see this happen to anybody else. We love the park!
Thank you

The lady at the desk when you come in is excellent! Very sweet and very helpful! She definitely "made it happen for us" when we arrived early! Thank you!

We enjoyed the spot so much we decided to stay another two weeks but the ranger kicked us out and said we couldn’t come back for another week because they couldn’t find our request form. After he found the request form he still made us leave and wrote us a warning citation for being there an day extra. No one was working the front gate all week and we left the form to stay in the drop box. Very unorganized! I support Arkansas parks and recreation but that was not fair.
