What Guests Are Saying
Wishon Bass Lake campground offers a great location near the lake and amenities, making it a favorite for many families who return annually. Campers appreciate the clean restrooms and beautiful views, with some sites being spacious enough for larger groups. However, issues such as rude camp hosts, noise disturbances, unlevel campsites, and lack of bear boxes have been noted, impacting the overall experience for some visitors.

We stayed in this campground to visit the area including Yosemite, that is a far but the campground was really nice.
The lake is walking distance, the loved having a place to play in the water. The restrooms where clean with soap, no showers but there is a place a few steps away with token showers. The site was big and with a nice view.
The coverage with Verizon was good for work remotely.
Would stay here again!

We had a great time at Bass Lake and would recommend the area to families However, the Camp Hosts were less than helpful. The trash is not often picked up and bears and other wildlife will cause a mess on the grounds & roads. Our campsite was near the trash cans (not bear boxes) and had concern that the bears would come ravage the trash at night. We brought our concern to the hosts which they both were not enthused and said "what can you do, the trash gets picked up in a couple of days". Sure enough, that night multiple bears and raccoons destroyed the bags of trash. The neighbors dogs alerted us that animals were near us. The trash was not picked up by the hosts but fellow campers. The bathrooms were also pretty unattended and we had to ask the hosts to clean (clogged toliet, clogged sinks, trash overflowing). When we gave the hosts a heads up about the restrooms the woman's reply was "great" with a sassy undertone. Needless to say, we enjoyed the area but not the campsite and got little sleep. More trashcans are needed, bear boxes, and trash picked up more often.

Small narrow roads for trailers (which is already disclosed on website) but other than that it is a beautiful campground. Clean bathrooms, good location- walking distance to Miller’s Landing
