What Guests Are Saying
Wishon Bass Lake offers a wonderful camping experience with clean amenities, friendly and helpful camp hosts, and easy access to the lake. Many guests appreciated the camp's beautiful location and the enjoyable atmosphere for families. However, some concerns were raised about noise disturbances during quiet hours, inconsiderate campers, and the need for better campsite leveling and bear-proof storage. Overall, the positive aspects of the campground make it a popular choice for many visitors.

Excellent. Fun place exploring the lake area and more distant areas s.a. Yosemite. Campsite nice, however did find while weekdays were relaxed and quiet, Friday night many sites have alot of vehicles and tents. Sites next to me had ~30 people and across from those two sites in a few directions similar. And fairly loud music throughout the campground, not crazy loud but definitely takes over the experience. I ended up enjoying the festive music next to my site but not preferred. Also that site ran a generator from ~6-10:30 for some reason I was thinking there were certain sites for generators (even thought I camp alot). Everyone seemed nice, easy/respectful. I think it's great so many people are out enjoying and it's economical and fun to do so altogether. Though I think limits aren't recognized and there are too many people camping a single sights.

Very nice campground with clean flushing bathrooms. Spent the weekend and neighbors were pretty much quiet after 10pm, got campsite #19 which was well located, spacious and had lots of shade. Water spigot in the campsite was very helpful too. The camp host was helpful and kind. The lake is on the other side of the road but it's within walking distance (3 min walking). Bear in mind that there are no "beaches" on this part of the lake, just rocks and multiple paved "walkways" to access the water, so I wouldn't recommend this part of the lake for kids. I wish the host had told us about the coin operated showers and the marina the night we arrived, we just found out about it the day we left.

We stayed at sites 9 & 11- the view was nice, but there weren’t many flat areas to lay down the tent. The bathrooms were well maintained, however there are no showers. There are payable showers at the nearby general store that’s about a 3 min drive. Reception was great (AT&T & Verizon). Be sure to bring bug repellant- they come out especially at sunset. Would recommend! We had a great time

I took my daughter's USC class to this campground to celebrate their impending graduation and for them to run the half marathon. As such, there was a lot of moving parts and the camp host was wonderfully welcoming and actively worked to accommodate us. She was incredibly sweet and helpful; she made our experience amazing. Thank you so much for helping to make this such a wonderful experience.

Rough road to the campsite, enjoyed site #27 while close to the large group site it allowed a nice view into the forest. We woke to deer and turkey walking through the site. Our 4 boys enjoyed the time away from the city.
