Beautiful setting, campground surrounded by large old growth trees with day use area and beach access just across the highway. Infrastructure was decent, but drive areas are narrow with some rough spots, and my wooden picnic table had grass growing up from the cracks between the plank tops. Short generator hours (when you would be out hiking or enjoying the beach) was a bit frustrating. Great hiking trail along the bluff on beach side of Highway 1.

We had a magnificent weekend camping at Plaskett Creek. Camp ground was sheltered from the wind and it ended up being a warm 70 degrees in April. One of my favorite places to camp.

Loved camping there. We haven’t been there in a long time. The trail down to Sand Dollar Beach was inaccessible but the campground was nice. Many trees still down that haven’t been cut up and hauled away. The sinks don’t have water. Even with these problems it was still a beautiful place to camp.

Plaskett creek is always beautiful. Campsites are a comfortable distance apart and many have an ocean view. While the bathroom sinks were shut down the bathrooms were very clean and spacious. Campsites had water spigots close by. The campground host we’re moving on to Oregon but while they were there we appreciated all their help and knowledge about the area.

We usually camp with friends every year and the hosts this time are great! Friendly, helpful. Bathrooms were taken care of.
Thanks!
