We've been staging our backcountry trips at Four Jeffrey for years. Susan is an excellent campground host - site was clean and raked and she was very nice to everyone - a very good vibe.

The campground host and management is excellent! Sites are clean and well maintained by staff. Campground staff members are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I highly recommend this campground. It’s perfect for backpackers looking for a friendly welcoming campground before heading out into the backcountry.

Overall, had a great stay the bathrooms are really clean flushable toilets and sinks which is so great to have while camping. The camp host were so helpful and kind, definitely would recommend!

The camp hosts were wonderful! Suzanne and Shawn were helpful, kind, attentive - and proactive in getting useful information out to campers. Big thank you to Dennis too. The campsites were tidy, raked, everything in good condition. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. It was always a pleasure to see the camp hosts come by!
We have camped at Four Jeffrey many times over the years, when coming in and out of backpack trips, and we've always enjoyed our stay. And we've witnessed many happy families enjoying the campground and the fishing and the beauty of the area.

From Highway 395 in the center of Bishop, turn west on Line Street (Highway 168) and continue west for 14 miles, then drive south on South Lake Road. The campground is 1 mile up South Lake Road.

Please Note: One RV with tow vehicle per single site or one vehicle per tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. Extra vehicle will be charged a per night fee and collected at the campground. |

Fire Restrictions: Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. |

Reserved Sites will be held until check out time (NOON) the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests. Once your reservation start date has begun, neither the Recreation.gov Contact Center nor the campground manager will be able to modify your reservation. |
