What Guests Are Saying
Four Jeffrey Campground offers a beautiful and clean camping experience, with well-maintained facilities and friendly, attentive hosts. The campground is praised for its immaculate bathrooms and helpful camp managers, making it an excellent choice for acclimating before heading into the wilderness. While some sites lack shade and bugs can be an issue, the overall atmosphere, scenic surroundings, and access to hiking trails make it a highly recommended destination for campers.

A very well maintained and welcoming campsite with easy access to mountain trails, lakes and fishing streams. As one of the largest campsites in the area it had good availability at the start of the summer vacation season. Very well maintained sites and facilities, with freshly-raked drives to welcome each new party.

This is a fantastic campground. The hosts are wonderful and take such great care of the sites. The bathrooms are always very clean and have flushing toilets and sinks. There is a great variety of sites from creek side to higher up with great views of the mountains. We stay here every year and always look for a reason to go back sooner.

This is great location for short day hikes and long backpacking loop hikes in the East sierra. The hike to Blue lake is a little demanding but well worth it and the fishing a North lake is pretty good. The campground itself is very well managed by an enthusiastic and organized couple, Suzanne and Shawn, who hosts the site keeping bathrooms spotless and campers well informed about upcoming weather. Bishop is about a 1/2 drive down the mountain, and has an excellent sporting goods store at Eastside Sports. Believe it or not, there is a WONDERFUL Thai restaurant at the airport called Thai Thai. If you get a chance, grab a beef salad or one of their other dishes.

Peaceful, by a stream, nice and shady, but no level place for a tent.

The Four Jeffrey Campground has a lovely view of Mt Tom, Basin Mtn, and Mt Humphreys. Campsites along the creek has good shade, while other sites are fully in the sun. The grounds are well kept and the toilets are clean with running water. Friendly camp host. Easy access to South Lake, Sabrina Lake and North Lake and plenty of hiking trails to see the stunning lakes and peaks in the area. This is one of my favorite campsites.
