What Guests Are Saying
White Cloud is a clean and lovely campsite with well-maintained areas for tents and a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for a getaway. While there is no water available (even non-potable) and the bathrooms occasionally lack supplies, many guests appreciated the clean vault toilets and the presence of friendly camp hosts. The site offers plenty of shade, access to nearby hiking trails, and a tranquil setting, making it a favorable choice for campers prepared for the limitations.

We always enjoy our stay at White Cloud. The only issue we had was the reservation system. It was difficult to use and we were not sure we had a reservation until we arrived.

Great spot. This is a good spot to get out into the woods without an abundance of perilous roads and total lack of civilization. I.e. a good introduction for someone. Really nice host, too. Only real issue was that not all of the campsites had bear lockers.

In accordance with standard industry practices, Tahoe National Forest will assess an additional $5 vehicle fee per day for the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicle in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered one vehicle, and the third and fourth motorcycle are also considered one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles. |
