What Guests Are Saying
Convict Lake Campground offers a stunning location with beautiful views, clean facilities, and friendly hosts, making it an ideal spot for both short stopovers and extended stays. The campground is well-maintained, with daily bathroom cleaning and convenient amenities like firewood sales and a nearby store. However, many sites lack shade and privacy, and bear encounters can be an issue, particularly for campers with food safety concerns. Overall, visitors appreciate the serene environment and recreational opportunities available in this picturesque area.

Went from 5/6 through 5/8. We stayed at site #6. Beautiful view of the mountains and terrain. No shade so make sure to bring an canopy/rainfly to keep the sun off of you. Wind was tolerable but there was some strong gusts every now and then so make sure you stake your tent/canopy down. Hosts did a fantastic job keeping the bathrooms (flush toilets btw!) clean. Overall, great experience and we plan to go back again in the future.
