Dogwood Campground is consistently praised for its cleanliness, beautiful natural surroundings, and well-maintained facilities, including flush toilets and hot showers. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the serene and private atmosphere provided by spacious campsites nestled among trees. Excellent campground- plenty of facilities, clean site, and helpful camp hosts. Our campsite (94) was very tucked away and secluded even though it was physically very close to others. Will definitely be returning.

Spot 86 is great! We had more than enough room for our 16’ pop up trailer, a truck, and a sedan. The parking pad is level but would definitely be a bit difficult to back in with a larger trailer. The campsite itself is large and could easily accommodate 2 large tents or 3 medium/small tents. There is a lot of shade in this camp spot too. The camp hosts do a wonderful job of keeping the campground clean. The bathrooms were always impeccable and the showers had hot water.

Site # 061 is an excellent site if you are a social butterfly. You are in close proximity to several other campsites as well as trash receptacles, potable water, showers, and restrooms. The site itself was nice. There is flat ground large enough for a 6 person tent and plenty of trees to get your hammock on. It is close to several trail heads which made getting in a quick hike a breeze. Highly recommended campground and campsite.

Site 046 was very good. It was close to potable water and restrooms. It was not close to trash receptacles. Three sides of the camp site are private with only one side facing a neighboring campsite. The road next to the site was not busy at all and I hardly noticed the vehicle traffic when it did pass by. There is plenty of space for a large family with a flat spot large enough for a 10-person tent. There is also an opening in the tree canopy that afforded great views of the night sky. A camp host site is only a few minute walk down the road for an added feel of security. My only issue were the yellow jackets. The came out as soon as we started cooking breakfast and pretty much made it impossible to enjoy our food. There are bee traps around the site. However, they did not seem very effective. Overall, I would highly recommend Dogwood Family Campground and site # 046.
