What Guests Are Saying
Dogwood Campground is consistently praised for its cleanliness, beautiful natural surroundings, and well-maintained facilities, including flush toilets and hot showers. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the serene and private atmosphere provided by spacious campsites nestled among trees. While some visitors noted minor inconveniences, such as the price increase for firewood and challenges with tent placement, the overall experience remains highly rated, making it a popular choice for families and repeat visitors.

It’s a beautiful campsite, but I didn’t like the loud campers that didn’t go to sleep till 2am. I wished they enforce quite time after 10p.m. Also didn’t appreciate being charge for parking for a campsite that said Maximum of 2 vehicles, and they told me that campsites are only allowed one car per site, and the website was just a suggestion of how many cars fit. I told them I have camp there before, and I was never told that or charged. They told me that I must of had someone nice that time. It didn’t make any sense. Unfortunately it will be our last time camping on these campground.

Loved this site and how private it is. No neighbors on either side or around. The only thing is the pics are deceiving. We parked our vehicle and 22ft trailer on the pad, but it's higher up on a retaining wall. So you have to step down to the camp site and the picnic table. We like to put out fencing for our dogs along the trailer and our outdoor carpet and weren't able to do that. Would stay here again, just felt like the pics were deceiving and could be a fall/trip hazard for elderly or toddlers. Other than that, amazing campground. Gorgeous. Feels like you're in NorCal. All of the camp hosts we met were top notch!

Camped at site 12 with a tent. Conveniently located close the restrooms but not too close. There are 4 sites in that area so not as private but it was still enjoyable. Very friendly staff and they are constantly cleaning the campground. Cell service worked if needed.

This is a great, convenient/starter campground for us. We're avid campers, currently breaking in our 3 year old. So Dogwood provides a short commute for us, lots of nice facilities, lots of areas to explore, and very much gives the illusion of being farther away from civilization than it actually is. Friendly staff as well.

Had a great time but was really disappointed that they enforce the check in time so strictly, we arrived about an hour before and had to wait in the parking lot. The lady in the booth made it up to us by offering us a bundle of wood so that was nice of her.
Campsites are super close together to the point that morning conversations can be heard from inside the tent while the neighbors were inside their tent. Bathrooms were super clean, camp site was supe mr clean and I even had reception.
