Very nice campground (#13) with plenty of room. Space #30 has nice view of the lake. Cherry Lake Iake itself was not too cold very relaxing to swim in. Lots of mosquito's bring a lot of bug repellent. Only drawback was the long road to get to the campground off Highway 120, just be sure to keep your vehicle in first gear instead of riding the brakes and also no cell service at all (T-mobile) so very important that your vehicle is well maintained prior to leaving

Stayed at site #3 it was close to the host but we had no neighbors. You could hear the creek nearby. I believe you have to park at the launch to access the lake. Weather was warm and lake was beautiful!

This is a beautiful campground with huge, awe-inspiring, old growth trees. Each campsite was spacious and made things not feel crowded even thought it was mostly full when I was there. The bathrooms were well used because of the amount of people and ran out of toilet paper often so I got used to taking my own with me. I would have also appreciated the manager making rounds to try and tame peoples music and goofiness that lasted well past midnight. I've never stayed at a campground that wasn't regulated past 10 and I tried to be cool about it but after days of hiking it was hard to get the sleep I needed. Still, a nice place and with its close proximity to Yosemite I would stay there again.
