What Guests Are Saying
Fairview Campground offers a stunning location with spacious and clean campsites, many right next to the river, perfect for family activities like fishing and tubing. The camp amenities, including clean bathrooms and friendly hosts, enhance the overall experience. However, some visitors reported issues with wasps and minor inconveniences with campground management, but these did not significantly detract from the enjoyment for most guests.

Fairview is my favorite campground when I visit the Kern River. The campsites are large, offering plenty of room to spread out and relax without being right next to your neighbor, and the camp host was friendly and did a great job keeping the area clean and welcoming.
One thing to note—there are a few large potholes in the asphalt on the campground road. It didn’t affect my stay, but it might be something to keep an eye on, especially for larger RVs. Fairview continues to be a peaceful and beautiful place to camp and I’m already looking forward to my trip next year!

It was pretty hot, not much privacy at the camp sites, and the creek bed was really rocky

We love coming up to Fairview. Our family has been going for 41 years. I wish your season would extend to Thanksgiving weekend like it used to.

The camp is absolutely beautiful with views all around and many great hikes close by. Close proximity to general store and WiFi access. Camp host is very nice. Will definitely be staying here again.
