What Guests Are Saying
Fairview Campground offers a stunning location with spacious and clean campsites, many right next to the river, perfect for family activities like fishing and tubing. The camp amenities, including clean bathrooms and friendly hosts, enhance the overall experience. However, some visitors reported issues with wasps and minor inconveniences with campground management, but these did not significantly detract from the enjoyment for most guests.

This a fantastic campground. Maury, the camp host, was friendly, helpful and always cruising the campground.. Got a bit of snow but we were toasty warm inside the teardrop. Had the campground to ourselves probably due to the snow. The asphalt at some of the sites is getting pretty torn up and could use a refresh.

It was a very pleasant experience. We went during mid week in October and the place was almost empty.…just the way we like it. We’ll be back!!

Been coming to fair and it’s awesome. The only 2 things that could been done to make it better if the camp host made sure there was toilet paper stocked and add WI-FI

Pit toilets were fairly clean of trash and had ample toilet paper available, but had not had pit’s cleaned out in some time and the odor and flies were starting to be bothersome smell wafting at campsite 😵💫
Noise level was not managed by host manager… one particular camp site had music blaring all day and well after dark. I don’t know what they used to power those speakers but it was like we were at a concert instead of relaxing next to the River trying to enjoy nature
Would stay here again if I could be certain that the noise level was within reasonable decibels

Dirty restroom, bad smell in the neighbour campsites.

The bad first: Neighbor playing loud music - didn't play it past 10:00 (good).although it made the evening unpleasant. We rented three tent spots. One of the spots must've been in the midst of repair as the picnic bench was unusable - we got by with just two benches so it was OK.
The good: The restrooms were clean. Large-ish community area in the center of the loop with courteous folks playing games.
The campground is a ways up the road from Kernville but there is general store, burger place, and restaurant nearby. I recommend the campground.
