What Guests Are Saying
Oh Ridge Campground offers a stunning location with beautiful lake access and spacious, clean campsites, making it a favorite for families and returning visitors. Despite some issues with restroom accessibility and a lack of showers, most guests appreciate the friendly staff and the well-maintained facilities. While there are concerns about parking fees and campground maintenance, the overall atmosphere and scenic views make it a desirable camping destination.

We love Oh Ridge and have stayed here several times. We have our favorite site (not going to share that :)). It’s the ideal location for access to not only the June Loop but also Mammoth Lakes and Convict Lake to the south, and Virginia Lakes, Lundy, Bodie, Tioga and more to the north. The campground is clean, quiet, has water and a dump, and good cell service. Oh, and it’s right on June Lake!
I’m sure we’ll be staying here again. We stay in a 24-foot travel trailer with lots of solar power!

Campground was great. This spot had no shade at all. We did see deer every morning and night! Definitely would go back.

Pretty pricey campground for no hookups. Location is great. Spaces are pretty big but not much shade or privacy. You have to pay $10 to dump RV tanks, which should be included for paid campers. Also, if you want to drive down and park at June Lake Beach? Another $10 each time. Unless you want to walk. I get this for day visitors but for paid campers with a permit already in their windshield? This should be included also. And if you have a second vehicle in addition to the tow vehicle? That's right, another $10/night even though you park it on your site and it interferes with nothing and no one. The sites are good, nice tables, bear boxes, and fire ring. Employees are attentive and campground is well maintained and monitored. Sometimes deer wander through. I'd shop around though, there are lots of options in June Lake area..

Make sure to look at any photos of the site you choose as some have steep pads or are very uneven. Generally the sites are pretty nice. What is annoying is that people that pay to stay here still have to pay to drive to the beach, $10 fee. You can walk in for free but lugging all your beach gear can be a big pain.
