What Guests Are Saying
Oh Ridge Campground offers a stunning location with beautiful lake access and spacious, clean campsites, making it a favorite for families and returning visitors. Despite some issues with restroom accessibility and a lack of showers, most guests appreciate the friendly staff and the well-maintained facilities. While there are concerns about parking fees and campground maintenance, the overall atmosphere and scenic views make it a desirable camping destination.

Camp hosts are the BEST!!! Restrooms always clean as are sites upon arrival.
Only issue ever us reservation system. Have our favorite sites. Log on and told to check back. Check back, date extended. Check back and sites already gone. Different directions in different places in the system. Very frustrating.

It was amazing, while the sights are breathtaking I think the fishing at June lake is amazing and the camping sites are a great size with friendly neighbors and great hosts

I love Oh Ridge. I’ve been coming here for pretty much my whole life and everything is always clean, the people are always nice, and the camp hosts are always helpful and friendly. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Everything was fantastic except for having to walk down to the beach. I think that guests who are already paying the camping fees should be able to have beach access. Others who come just for the day charge them the $10. I know it's for trash pick up but this is California, all those taxes, and I know I paid extra fees by booking it through recreation.gov. Allocate some of that for a trash service to come and clean up if people are slobs. I would never leave trash on the beach. I'm 54 and I've been coming to that campground since I was seven years old. I don't like the restricted beach access. It would be so convenient to be able to just drive down and park and get the chairs and everything out right there. $46 a night should include beach access. The hosts are terrific and deserve a lot of credit for their dedication and kindness.

Thus was a celebration for our 20th wedding Anniversary. We have camped around June Lake before but this was our first time at Oh Ridge. In general the location is well located and easy to find. We enjoyed touring around the town and enjoyed a visit to Mammoth Lakes as well. My husband found a wonderful restaurant, Eagles Landing to celebrate our special night. It was really good! The lake itself is stunning and we enjoyed fishing in our little boat although the $30 launch fee is steep. The view of the granite mountains from our site and from the lake were beautiful and we enjoyed unplugging and seeing the sites. We've been there before, and we will be back to enjoy the solitude and the lake. We live in the tourist town of South Lake Tahoe and really appreciated this much more quiet mountain setting. Peace and quiet is highly underrated.

I wish that people who paid to camp at Oh Ridge were allowed to bring their cars to the beach for free, or at least for a reduced rate.

Our site ended up being very close to other people with more interaction than I was seeking.
