What Guests Are Saying
Oh Ridge Campground offers a stunning location with beautiful lake access and spacious, clean campsites, making it a favorite for families and returning visitors. Despite some issues with restroom accessibility and a lack of showers, most guests appreciate the friendly staff and the well-maintained facilities. While there are concerns about parking fees and campground maintenance, the overall atmosphere and scenic views make it a desirable camping destination.

Most all was good but I paid a little more for the first nights stay because I thought I was supposed to pay an additional fee for my tent trailer.
It was not clear that it was not considered an additional vehicle until I spoke with a park ranger and there was no additional charge for my trailer.

We had a great time at Oh Ridge! We loved how close it was to June Lake (less than a 10 min walk) and our site was nice and shady. The only negative is that there was no bathroom on our loop (Coyote) so we had to walk a little further and there were no showers. Otherwise, it's a nice campground and we'd definitely return!

Campground is quiet and well spaced out. But there is a fair distance from the lake to walk with lake toys and cooler chests in tow. If you need to bring the car down to the lake even briefly to bring the gears down, they wanna charge you $10. The day we camped, water is shut off at the entire camp and a few nearby camps. We ended up going to Mammoth lakes to enjoy the fishing and paddling. Cell coverage is decent. Camp at your own risk.

The dirt was extremely loose so it was very difficult to set up the tent. Everything else was great.

We’ve been having a friend reunion at June Lake’s Oh Ridge Campground for the past 14 years or so… and we love it there because of the access to the lake, so it’s was pretty disappointing when the $10 fee for beach parking began. It’s extremely disappointing that people who are camping there don’t get some kind of priority, or at least a discount for that! That beach is one of the main reasons we have been going there for so long!
Yes, it’s not that hard to walk or bike down there, but we bring our paddle boards, shade structures and water toys.
The campground itself is mostly well kept.
