We enjoyed our trip to Oh Ridge.
However, we were surprised at the entrance, to be charged $9.00, per night, for our second vehicle, even though our reservation indicated #2 vehicles.
Also, it was a bummer to find an additional fee is charged for parking at the lake.

We stayed on Gull Loop with several other families and had a wonderful time. Proximity to the bathrooms and lake access was perfect. The camp host was very welcoming.

Adding some more toilets to the camp would be beneficial. Maybe one per loop would be more sufficient and make it more pleasant in the morning to not have to walk so far.

The staff at Oh Ridge were superb. The campground and beach were spotless and the crowd control was great.

Stayed in space 113, flat and level for the most part. Restroom nearby, no shade. The ground squirrels/chipmunks will hop into an open RV door and rummage for food, so keep those screen doors shut.
Beach day use is tricky. It's a $10 fee to park down by the beach. This does not reserve a parking spot. If you leave and come back, they will have sold your spot and you won't be able to park at the beach again until a spot opens up.
There is also a $10 fee to use the dump station, payable by card at the station.
There is good AT&T and Spectrum/VZW cell service at the campground with pretty good data speeds.

Site description said it had a lake view, but it was just a sliver of the lake. The site itself was good, flat with soft dirt to hammer some guy lines in on the tent but nothing to write home about. You are just a few minutes away from the beach so its not a bad option if other sites are taken

Oh Ridge Campground is 350 miles north of Los Angeles and 150 miles south of Reno, Nevada. Take U.S. Highway 395 to its southern junction with Highway 158. Take 158 for 1 mile. Turn right on North Shore Drive. Go approximately 1 mile and turn left on Pine Cliff Road. Go 0.5 mile to campground entrance.

Reserved Sites will be held until checkout time (NOON) the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of the second day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests. Please call the office at 760-934-5795 if you need to inform the campground of an arrival time greater than 24 hours after your arrival date, or if you will not use your reservation whatsoever. |

Please Note: One RV with tow per single site or one vehicle per tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. In accordance with standard industry practices, Inyo Recreation will assess an additional $10.00 extra vehicle fee per day for the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicle in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered one vehicle, and the third and fourth motorcycle are also considered one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles. |
