What Guests Are Saying
Oh Ridge Campground offers a stunning location with beautiful lake access and spacious, clean campsites, making it a favorite for families and returning visitors. Despite some issues with restroom accessibility and a lack of showers, most guests appreciate the friendly staff and the well-maintained facilities. While there are concerns about parking fees and campground maintenance, the overall atmosphere and scenic views make it a desirable camping destination.

Camp ground is in a good location with some sites offering little shades. We stayed in site 18 where the nearest restroom with one toilet and one urinal for 30+ sites is about 250 yards away.

Star ratings were not working for the first question.
The setting is beautiful, but the campsites are too close for the large 5th wheels that come in. I left after the first of my 4 reserved days, as a huge rig came in on my passenger side making it impossible to use the area outside my house door.

There was no path down to the lake from each loop of the campground (which made for a long walk). The asphalt pads to put your RV on were very broken up and needing some repair. We choose to be in the closest loop to the lake and there was a maintenance storage yard directly in front of us. There was no fence to hide the equipment and was not very attractive. The area was beautiful and I would suggest staying in a loop that was further away from the water and more quiet and do not expect a campground on the lake.

The campground provided a great place to start our days of exploration. The grounds are very clean and well kept. There are a few trees that are in need of trimming that required me to drive around them to avoid causing damage to my motorhome. Overall it is a great value.

The campground is always well maintained. We did not have a prior reservation this time but there were spots available. It would be nice to have electricity access in the restroom. It’s easy to camp in Oh Ridge and leave to do a day trip over Tioga Pass into Yosemite Valley. Also a day trip to Bodie State Park ghost town is a must
