I love this campground bc it is right in town and peaceful normally. This year there were many dirt bikes and ATVs speeding back and forth on a newly cut dirt road right behind the campsites. It was loud and dusty. There were even a few cars who drove the road and had to turn around when they realized it didn't go through.

Excellent campground in town, yet you feel like you are in the middle of nature. It has easy access to the bike path system and is in walking distance of shops and restaurants. At night you will here some noise from town (mostly cars) so do not camp here if you are wanting complete silence aside from nature.

Nice little campground right in town. Downsides are noise from the nearby roads and not much privacy, but it does the job! Great cell service by virtue of being so close to civilization.

We love Old Shady Rest...even though the campground was full, it never feels crowded.

Camp host is awesome. Nice clean site, not to close to others. Only issue was turning out of site. Post and rock on other site of road made it almost impossible to pull out with the trailer. Site 28 Old Shady Rest. 26ft. trailer.
Thank you! We love Mammoth!

Nice quiet campsite. Very close to town and bike paths. The sites are challenging to park in if you have a trailer over 25', but we made it work. We would definitely stay here again!
