Nice location in the woods. Close to town, the bike path and the freeway so it was convenient for trips to Yosemite, June Lake loop and other areas. Host was pleasant, but not overly freindly. BIG PROBLEM with ANTS. Had to go to the local Ace Hardware and purchase 2 bags of Diatomaceous earth to sprinkle around every contact point to keep out the thousands of ants that came from the hundreds of ant holes all around us. this worked, so no further problems, but be prepared. There is an awesome dump station located just down the street between old and new campgound, Cost is $12 and it works flawlessly.

Site 6, ATT coverage was just enough for ok service. The site was clean and recently raked around the fire place.
This site, on the backside of the campground, was nice and quiet and nicely separated from it's neighbors. Restrooms were clean. Water was a little ways away but not so far as to be a issue.
Our camp host was a little grumpy but overall answered many questions we had and was always around cleaning and organizing so thumbs up on our host overall.
Nice site and we would definitely stay here again if in Mammoth. Great central location.

General
- Reserved Sites will be held until the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests. Please call the office at 760-934-5795 if you need to inform the campground of an arrival time greater than 24 hours after your arrival date, or if you will not use your reservation whatsoever.
- $10 charge for use of the dump station
- This is a high elevation facility; please use caution when traveling from lower elevations
- Be bear aware; keep all food out of site in approved containers or locked inside your vehicle and remove all food from area after eating; always keep a clean camp and do not feed any wild animals
- Once your reservation start date has begun, neither the Recreation.gov Contact Center nor the campground manager will be able to modify your reservation.
- Fire Restrictions: Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed.
- Only 2 pets per site allowed.
- Please Note: One RV with tow per single site or one vehicle per tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. In accordance with standard industry practices, Inyo Recreation will assess an additional $10.00 extra vehicle fee per day for the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicle in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered one vehicle, and the third and fourth motorcycle are also considered one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles.
