Very clean campsite. And secluded too. We saw lots of bears so be sure to use the bear boxes for everything.

I wish there was showers but overall a great campsite that makes you feel far out in the wilderness with being 5 mins away from town.

Sherwin Creek is a unique campground on the outskirts of Mammoth Lakes and is less popular than other better known campgrounds in the area (Twin Lakes, Lake Mary, etc.). It's a short drive into town, yet located in a beautiful remote forest setting with plenty of space between campsites. We had sites #86 and #87, which were walking distance to Sherwin Creek and close to bathrooms. We didn't know this when we reserved the sites, but there were plenty of folks with 4X4 ATVs and side-by-side UTV in the campground as there are many trails nearby to ride. The general area has many recreational activities available for an extended family vacation, and Sherwin Creek location from which to launch daily activities. We'll be back again this summer!

Beautiful shaded campground that feels secluded but is just a short drive to town. Great fishing and hiking. Off roading was a blast
