Campground was clean. Area is close to town, which makes it easy to access hiking trails, and other features. Cell reception was sporadic. Everyone was respectful of each other‘s campsites, and we got lucky because there was not any partiers.

Great location close to town but quiet and secluded feeling. Close to many MTB and hiking trails.

Our family visited Sherwin Creek Campground Aug 27 through Aug 31 and it started off with rain, but the park and campgrounds are beautiful and very relaxing. Our camp Host Rebekah and her partner were amazing! We’ve stayed at several campsites in the past, but nothing compared to Rebekah! Warm, pleasant and ver informative on the area! We thought we lost our daughter’s watch phone and Rebekah and team took the time to look for the watch over 2 days! I mean just class acts! Mammoth and the surrounding areas were beautiful! We will be back! And we want to give another shot out to Rebekah and her partner (didn’t catch his name). We really appreciate you both and thank you so much for being a great part of our experience!! Cheers!

The camp host was very kind with helping us check in. We did not see any bears this time around. Its was crowded for our weekend stay but very quiet.

We had a great stay and the camp host was the friendliest camp host I have every met! The location is convenient and we could hear the running stream from our campsite. It was just what the doctor ordered!

Best time of the year to go is first two weeks in September. Hardly anyone there and it was very quiet and relaxing. Easy access to VONS is a plus. Make sure you hit Distant brewery one day for some great food and a nice cold tap beer.
See you next year Mammoth Lakes!!
