Love the campgrounds, staff is very informative, hospitable and extremely accommodating. I highly recommend this campground. While staying at June Lake Loop, Tiger Bar is a must for breakfast!

Been camping with you at Silver Lake for going on 33 years this coming October. In that time we have been snowed out 2 years, and of course out the year of the close down of the government. Every year is a different experience. Rain, snow , wind, and beautiful weather all play a part, but the most important has been lack of crowds during late October, although recent years the crowds are growing. Always enjoy the fall beauty of the area, and the fishing. Camp managers have always been very helpful, facilities have been updated and one couldn't ask for more. We love the place.

We absolutely loved our visit to Silver Lake/June Lake Campground! We rented an RV for the weekend and spent 1 night at June Lake. We were not even a little bit prepared for the -3F that it was that night but we huddled up, layered our clothes, and woke up to such an incredible scene: The lake itself had frozen at the edges and a fog was rolling off of the lake as the sun finally shone down from beyond the surrounding mountains. It was so beautiful we had to take a picture straight away and it is my favourite from our entire trip. Absolutely serene, calm area! Definitely come prepared! I didn't realize how high the elevation was but if we had brought more comfortable clothing/bedding, we would have been in absolute heaven.

I've been coming to Silver Lake campground since 1986, as my friends and family have also been for years. It has always been a very popular place, and not enough can be said as to the enjoyment we've experienced throughout the surrounding area of the Eastern Sierra's. Fishing being the main focus for coming to camp here of course goes without saying. My wife and I, and friends have noticed that over the last few years the fishing has'nt been as good as the water temps have an affect when temps get where the trout don't like to surface. I would like to see more fish being alloted to this lake as there is a higher volume of fisherman over the years. If you could make that happen I might give a better review next time. Thank you

We went for just a weekend. We were aware its a bit of a drive from the village of the yosemite park but it was pitch black dark when we got there and the directions were not the best. Also it was so windy and there was no shelter from the wind. The next morning we had a bunch of yellow jackets chasing us unfortunately so we decided to cut our stay shorter than planned. It was about 90 degrees in the park but at the campground about 50 degrees with high winds that we didnt expect. Over all we cant imagine to come back to this campground.
