We were there with a group. Had a great time except that our site said it was 45' long. It was not! It had huge boulders on the sides and was difficult to get into and worse to get out of. Boulders need to get moved out of the sides and right in front where the site #sign is. Took us 3 unhitch and rehitch to get out. All other spots looked like they were as advertised. Definitely no trailers or motorhomes, not even a long van up around the loop between sites 8 and 12. Lots of mosquitoes, especially Monday morning. Beautiful campground though.

Eastern high Sierra beauty. Campground is clean, as are the vault toilets. Some spaces a little close and tight, but not too bad. West Carson River right across the road or Blue Lakes about 10 miles up the road. Mostly quiet with occasional road noise, again, not bad.

It would be perfect if there is a dump station.

This is a beautifully maintained campground in a mountain setting. The sites were spaced well enough for privacy, the campground was quiet, the bathrooms were clean and there are endless opportunities for outdoor activities in the surrounding area. Hope Valley is a bit removed from Lake Tahoe but still an easy trip. We would definitely visit this campground again.
