Although our rv was within size for site, trees and rocks prevented us from getting into the site. Reservation fees wasted as we couldn’t park there.

We have camped here quite a few times over the years and it is one of our favorite places. This year we camped in June and then at the beginning of September both times at site 16, it is a great site, the only downside was two different groups from different campsites thought it ok to walk through our site. I have been camping my as long as I can remember and I have never walked through a occupied campsite. Especially in a time when there is a severe virus going around and we are meant to social distance. It was very rude and disappointing.

The camp hosts here are wonderful people and so friendly and they do a really good job overseeing things. I also want to thank the management company as I had a few questions due the fire restrictions and they replied promptly and were extremely helpful and friendly.

Campsite is in a beautiful wooded area and across the street from a meadow and views of the mountain ranges. The campsite was generally quite, except for the occasional vehicle whizzing by on the street. Bear lockers were clean and convenient. The vault bathroom did get a bit full and there were tons of flies, but that come with the territory! We will probably be back. We thought the campground was a nice find with a 30-45 minute drive to most south lake tahoe hiking trails.
