We camp often, and we found that this campground has the most amenities. It has excellent Bear Lockers for storage, a raised platform for your BBQ grill, and even a separate stand-alone BBQ grill of its own. Each site has a flat and well-prepared space for tents, and there are a few double-sites for larger groups. The only downside is the pit toilets, but at least they are clean and reasonably un-smelly. Remember to bring a screened-in pop-up in the Springtime, as the mosquitoes are swarming and hungry.

The Camp Ground Host was friendly, helpful and efficient. He kept the campground clean , especially the restrooms.
The Hope Valley area was fabulous. Blue lakes and all the other lakes were wonderful.

Such a beautiful place. And the camp host David is very helpful and very easy to approach.
Only thing I miss is I wish they planted more fish . Back when I was a kid there were plenty of fish all up and down the stream. I been coming here for over 50 years.

David is a very good Camp Host! Always enjoy our stay, have been staying in the campground for over 15 years, and even a couple times before it was re done.

Nice campground, fairly quiet, and at least our site was nicely separated from neighbors. The river across the road is a beautiful place to walk along, dip into, or hang out by. Our camp host was great, and made frequent rounds throughout the campground. Thumbs Up!

Great campsite. Had campsite 18. Which was a double, room for 12 people. But only had two spaces for tents. Assuming six people are gonna cram into each tent. We had six people total at our site. I just like to get a larger site to have more room. Site was nice and well-maintained, although it was right next to the road. In the middle of the night there were cars driving on the road and people partying across the street at the river. Next time I will get a different site. Bathrooms were very clean as most people had trailers and probably not using them! This was also Memorial Day weekend so temperatures were cold at night! River was great for fishing and lots of hiking nearby
