Small, well run campground. Restrooms were very clean. Camp host left water jug at each site to put out fires at the end of the night! Nice touch. Excellent hiking in the valley nearby. Fishing too…

This is a nice campground. The bathrooms are clean, and the camp host was friendly and helpful. We were there in mid-May, and there was still water around the campground from the snow melt, so when it warmed up, the mosquitoes came out. After it cooled down in the evening, it was fine. I recommend this campground.

I like this campground because it is a little out of the way from the main road. It is small in the amount of camp sites. Each site is well planned with a designated tent area, bear box, stove and barbeque stands and a fire pit. Water and vault toilets are well maintained by the camp host. There is hiking or walking from camp with enjoyable views.

This is a lovely, quiet campground. There is nice, easy access to the river from right across the road from the campground and other fun things to do nearby. The host was great and we hope to come back. This is a littl gem just off the beaten path from all the craziness of the Lake Tahoe basin campgrounds.

Been going there since the 1980's.. beautiful, peaceful, area that never fails to make me feel sad when I leave it.. close to the Blue lakes and tons of hiking and fishing for all ages. You will not be disappointed.
