What Guests Are Saying
Manzanita Lake Campground is a well-maintained, beautiful site with clean restrooms, ample amenities, and proximity to the lake for activities like kayaking and hiking. This is a four or four and a half star campground. This is a review for tent campers: I highly recommend the tent campers loops s it is a bit quieter and more spacious. The only downside of the campground really is its a very large one, and like many very large campgrounds, there’s a lot of noise, a lot of people and stuff everywhere, and a lot of campfire smoke. But those are the only negatives we found - its sited next to a Great Lake with a solid trail network and a prime base to explore Lassen NP, either on foot, by cycle or on 4 wheels. Just praying that the park makes it thru the Park Fire unscathed - fire damage from Dixie on the Eastside is severe enough as is. Lassen will not disappoint!

*no verizon service* site c44 was overall pretty good! close to bathrooms and water and a short walk from the store and waterfront. the site itself had a good amount of shade and trees perfect for setting up a hammock. it was a little bit sloped but still had a good mostly level spot for the tent. bathrooms were fine, nothing spectacular, but it’s a campsite! only inconvenience i experienced was the camper store being out of ice on a hot summer day.

A beautiful spacious campground with a hiking trails and lake activities. The campground amenities were not as available. Do you expect to have a shower or use the laundry room. Both were shut down during our five day stay. The store had very limited supplies. There was no campground host or additional employees to enforce the rules, such as smoking or quiet time.

Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
