Wonderful location for a family camping trip. We enjoyed the Lake every day and the kids especially enjoyed completing their Junior Ranger programs.

Nice campground. Sites are close but that's not too bad. The lake is great for swimming, if you do a Backcountry like we did the lake is perfect to get back after being away and just jumping in.

repeat camper here … no camp host this year. Toilets fouled early on with busy weekend.
i wish there was a better system for reservations… seems like several people book sites and never show up… not considerate of others.
I think its time for all national parks to have electrical plug-ins for EV and for avoiding having to run generators… i have solar and batteries however most campers dont… the noise and pollution of generators should be addressed.
had a great time… we enjoy the ranger talks and the park is beautiful!

Close walk to the beach was great! If we had stayed longer we would have taken advantage of the many bike trails near town.
